Michelle Henry

DSU Board of Directors

Michelle Henry is an experienced engineering leader and a committed advocate for education, youth development, and community. As a Duxbury resident and mother of two children in the DSU program, she has seen firsthand how DSU helps young people build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging — and she is passionate about supporting that mission.

With more than two decades in technical and program leadership roles, Michelle brings expertise in systems thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and guiding complex projects with clarity and purpose. Her approach to leadership mirrors the skills she values in DSU students: curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Michelle believes deeply in the power of education to shape opportunity. As both an engineer and a parent, she appreciates how DSU nurtures essential life skills, encourages exploration, and surrounds kids with supportive adult role models. She is especially committed to helping DSU expand access to high-quality programs that inspire young people to discover their potential.

Proud to serve on the DSU Board of Directors, Michelle supports DSU as Duxbury’s Launchpad for Life—a place where every child can thrive, contribute, and feel part of a strong, caring community.
