Join Us as DSU’s Program Manager and Help Young People Thrive!

We Believe Youth Can Stretch Themselves and Learn New Skills.

At DSU, we believe youth thrive when given opportunities to grow academically, socially, and emotionally, all in a safe and welcoming environment. We’re looking for a Program Manager who brings energy, creativity, and compassion to every day, and who is deeply committed to youth development and education.

Whether you’re leading after-school enrichment, creating a dynamic curriculum, or building trust over “Knockout”, no two days are the same. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves to teach, mentor, and inspire.

What You'll Do

As Program Manager, you’ll design and lead programming that supports academic growth, social-emotional development, and lifelong learning for students in grades 3–8. You’ll be part educator, part coach, part event planner,  and always a role model.

  • Be present. Supervise students daily during after-school hours, camp days, and events.
  • Teach life lessons. Set clear expectations, hold students accountable with empathy, and model values like respect, responsibility, and kindness.
  • Support your team. Train and guide staff in EEC policies and youth-centered practices within the first 30 days.
  • Communicate with care. Maintain attendance, incident reports, parent communication, and student progress records.
  • Celebrate and share success. Help promote our programs through social media, newsletters, flyers, and thank-you campaigns.

Who Are You?

You’re not just looking for a job, you’re looking to make a difference in kids’ lives and your community. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and you’re energized by hands-on leadership.

You bring:

  • Confidence to make quick decisions and adapt plans on the fly
  • The ability to build trust with students, families, and staff
